A Focus on Community Services Leads to Recognition

Over the past 20 years Theresa Tolle, owner of Bay Street Pharmacy in Sebastian, Fla., has seen changes and developed the business to keep pace.

With a focus on healthcare that serves the community, Tolle is excited about what is possible in 2024.

Since Tolle took co-ownership of Bay Street Pharmacy in the late 1990s with her husband, she has monitored how best to apply opportunities in the changing healthcare landscape to the advantage of her patients in her pharmacy’s community.

“I’m always trying to assess: What’s missing, and where can we fill that gap?” says Tolle. “I think that’s gotten harder over time as profits have declined, and it’s difficult to have the staffing to provide counseling, but we’re still managing to do it and even added more.”
