The 50 Most Influential Pharmacists Awards
The honorees were singled out by thousands of voters in the industry as being among those that are forging a new and better future for pharmacy.
Anyone reading this article knows pharmacy faces a number of challenges. The good news: There are innovative leaders with the skill and fortitude to solve them. Nowhere is this more evident than in the list of the 50 Most Influential Leaders in Pharmacy, just announced by the Pharmacy Podcast Network (PPN).
Now in its third year, this innovative honors program placed Nadia Ahmad, Pharm.D., at the top of the list as the number-one vote getter. Ahmad serves as a dispensing pharmacist for Walgreens in Middlesboro, Ky. She is cited for exemplary leadership, customer care, and for her support for female pharmacists and community mental health issues.
